Admission Requirements
A minimum age is 18 years old and high school diploma or GED equivalent are non-negotiable prerequisites to this program. The prospective student will be will given a tour of the facilities, a copy of the school catalog and briefing of the programs. Then a student application will be given during your interview and you’ll be asked to register on the proper day. Upon its completion and acceptance, the student will be given an agreement contract for this course. All student must register on the 15 of the prior month before there enrollment.
Course Descriptions
300 Hours Medical Massage TherapySwedish massage incorporates the five basic techniques to give each student the proper knowledge for administering basic assessment or hands on application. This class is great for creating an accurate foundation in fundamental and systematic skills. Students will review the history of massage, scope of ethics, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pathology, documentation, treatment plans, body mechanics, compensation patterns, ROM techniques and myo-fascial release.
300 Hours of Spa & Bodywork Therapy
You will have the opportunity to explore product formulas and learn to understand there medicinal values. This program has advanced equipment tables and treatment rooms in which you will be able to practice in. At the end of this program you will be able to conduct therapy through a 3 hour treatment excursion. Training incorporates aromatherapy, hydrotherapy , body wraps, exfoliation treatments, stone massage, spa application, pathology, kinesiology, anatomy, physiology and business.
700 Hours Credentialed Massage Therapy
Is based on completing both 300 hour programs plus 100 hours of internship that is completed in our Therapy Clinic. Your will be skilled in both Spa & Medical Massage Assessment. We our the only training site in the central valley that offers this type of training. You qualifications as follows: somatic application, stone massage, spa & bodywork assessment, Swedish massage, Myo-fascial technique, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, kinesiology, medical terminology, business, ethics, hygiene, pathology, anatomy, physiology and over 435 hours of hands on application.
